At GoCause, the platform I built enabled sellers to promote their products through charitable giving campaigns. Sellers could build GoCause campaigns including the products and messaging of their choice. When customers purchased participating products, the seller would make a donation to the charitable cause—a win-win for sellers (promotion) and customers (satisfaction of giving).
GoCause itself was a marketplace that listed these products from participating sellers once a seller launched a GoCause campaign. Customers could shop by product or by cause, discovering interesting products that they could purchase to contribute to that particular cause.
